Here are effective strategies to help you build and expand your email list while balancing your responsibilities as a mompreneur:
Offer Valuable Lead Magnets:
Ok BUT FIRST JODIE, what the heck is a lead magnet? A lead magnet is a free mini digital product that you use to grow your email list with "warm leads", meaning they're already interested in what you have and are likely your target audience. Ever try to sell a mentorship geared towards moms with young kids building an online business to some old guy who can barely navigate the internet. AYYYYY. He wouldn't be a "warm lead" for my services.
The goal here is to create compelling lead magnets that provide real value to your audience. Our ChatGPT Mastery guide can help you develop engaging lead magnets ideas and content that attract subscribers. Your lead magnet should be a valuable, but small, window into what you offer your clients. These free resources, such as checklists or eBooks are beneficial to your audience, in exchange for email sign-ups.
Utilize Landing Pages:
Design optimized landing pages to capture email addresses. What's a landing page? A landing page is more simply the direct website for the digital product you're trying to sell. The lead magnet you learned about in the last section is the very top of the funnel, which is your "free" audience. Ensure your landing pages are visually appealing and include clear calls to action. Once a potential client opts into your email, you can trigger the next step of the funnel. The next step would weed out your free audience and funnel them into your Intro offer audience, which is a low priced ($10 or less, but $1-$5 is even better) mini offer. The funnel continues increasing in price points and value until you're left with only people interested in your main high ticket product/service. Leverage Social Media:
Promote your lead magnets on social media platforms to reach a wider audience. Use engaging posts and stories to drive traffic to your landing pages. Choose 2 that are extremely similar that allow you to link accounts together to post on more than 1 platform with a single click. Once you've got the 2-in-1 platform down, learn the platform you're most intrigued by. I suggest TikTok. I should probably do a post on that actually...
